If These Walls Could Talk

A poem of gratitude, inspired by the moments experienced during #Hunterello2022

If these walls could talk, they'd tell you of the games we played which caused loud laughter to ring out. 

They'd share the funny stories that always get retold whenever this group gathers. 

They could let you know how much more effective board games, a puzzle, and celestial phenomenon are at connecting humans one to the other.

Surely the walls would tell you that we'd left them alone to explore the wonders of nature - coming back with stories about the glorious beauty that awaited us just outside the door.

And after experiencing the joys of those gifts, there were moments of stillness, deep rest, contemplation, and relaxation. If you listen really closely, perhaps they'd whisper thank you that they'd been able to provide space for a family to let go, be together, and grow closer. 

We are all so grateful to have been here together.
