Why Not You?

Do you ever see contest entries and think, 'hey! I'd like to win that prize!' but then never enter because you're like, no way I'd win.

That was me. Often.

But earlier this week, I saw a contest and thought, 'hey! I'd like to win that prize!' and I ENTERED.

AND I WON!

Not only that, but I entered for my husband and HE WON TOO!

So now we're going to see a concert today at The Wellmont Theater for free with two of our friends. The U2 tribute band "Unforgettable Fire" played at the BB King restaurant in NYC when Huz took me there for a surprise 40th birthday outing. I remember loving the music - I'm a HUGE U2 fan - and I remember staying out until about 4 in the morning that night. I think both my step kids were there and many of my siblings and I'm pretty sure we had lots of fun and drinks and laughs and drinks. Someone in the audience even proposed that night, I think! I wonder if they ever got married or if they're still married. Such a fun time.

Instead of thinking, why me, today I invite you to think - why not me? And enter the contest! Go for the promotion! Attempt that hard asana in class! Why not you?
